The navaid lighting constant current regulator is the core control equipment of the airfield navigation lighting system, which guarantee the safe landing for the pilot under various visibility conditions. The IPCCR series sine wave constant current regulator is a new generation product developed by our company for the airport industry. It can provide pure sine wave to meet the high-quality requirements of various halogen lamps and LED lights in the airfield. Product design and manufacturing comply with the MH/T6010-2017 standard of CAAC, and AC150/5345-10F of FAA.

Principle of Operation

The working principle is shown in the figure above. The regulator transfers the AC 380V voltage source into a pure sine wave high accuracy current source, and then boosts the output voltage to a maximum of 4500V AC with a maximum current of 6.6A through a step-up transformer. Each functional light is connected in series in the high-voltage circuit, and the regulator controls different brightness by adjusting the current value in the circuit. So as to achieve the function of accurately guiding the aircraft to land under different climatic conditions.
